Working with Hustler Magazine: December 2024

As many of you know or got to see via my other social media pages, I occasionally do articles & interviews for several media outlets & podcasts. Back in December, after many years of knowing Missy Martinez, I finally gave Hustler Magazine a shot for the first time.

In 2012, while working for The Bunny Ranch, Dennis Hof proposed that I visit much longer so that I could do Penthouse, Hustler & go on Howard Stern. At the time, I was in my early 20s & I firmly declined. I told him, gently of course, that I didn't have interest in being famous for escorting. This still holds true for me as companionship for hire is the smallest (but longest) part of my overall adult and entertainment career.

Following Missy & working with her has been a delight! She is a fantastic columnist & blends her talents in the adult industry flawlessly with her writing abilities. This is exactly why I couldn't wait to finally see her seeking entertainers to interview for her XXXmas Cheer article. I'm still selective when it comes to my persona & how I'm presented in the media, I very much trust Missy & the Hustler team when it comes to that. As a sex worker, it's very easy for journalism & media to skew the vision so as a way of protecting my brand, I mainly work with other sex workers & those who are very closely aligned with certain standards (I avoid those who would also be viewed poorly if they put out work that showed their subjects in a sleazy, ugly or bad light).

This article was really fun to work on & reading the whole thing, seeing what the other entertainers had to share, was a pervy but wholesome group project. I've since gone forward with a solo interview that Missy & worked on together. That piece of literature highlights important safety protocols in BDSM & the responsibility that comes with being in control as a dominant. I'll be sharing about that one as well & a piece that I did amongst other workers regarding the legacy & connection to sex work that David Lynch left in his wake.
