Destination Decisions: Coming to your city?

You've seen the tour dates. All providers have them listed, some in advance by months, others in a pop up surprise way. All of the locations & dates chosen for their own reasons.

Many guys comment on posts or send idle messages asking the same question: "coming to x city?" Why isn't x city listed? "Any plans for x city soon?" The approach is often not successful but the why or why not remains. Why do I choose these cities, how do I decide?

For me, touring used to be a fun adventure. An opportunity to try a new place, meet far away admirers, check out a restaurant or hotel I'd had my eye on. I used to plan whole trips around the idea of sight seeing and dining with maybe some work sprinkled in. Back then, overhead was a lot less. Flight and hotel deals or road tripping it as a 23 year old (aimlessly) was very doable, even if a profit wasn't great or even likely. Ads were cheap & easily+quickly approved. Clients were more eager to meet someone traveling through on a whim.

These days? Hotel costs, travel costs (living in general) rose, one week of touring can sometimes equal a full month of your rent or mortgage on top of your normal bills. Hotels are more vigilant for spotting the traffic that comes with touring pros since laws have changed. They've been tasked and challenged with reporting anything and everything, even though they'd rather not bother us. When Covid days washed across the globe, travel halted, renovations stopped, housekeeping became a thing of the past (we still have to request it multiple times and even then may not get a refresh on sheets or towels). Private home or apartment rentals are no longer affordable since the pricing and fees became a free for all. Most corporate or private rentals are still using the brief covid shutdown to justify gouging to make up for losses, years later. Budget airlines are in talks of calling it quits.

With these factors and so many risks for failure and financial loss why would anyone tour/travel long term for work? That umbrella includes bands, performance artists, models, nurses and of course sex workers. Yet, there are concerts, traveling shows, exhibits and plenty of touring talented beauties to behold. We do it because we enjoy it, we feel a need to branch out to cities that have clients ready to book us, we are trying to establish a reputation in a city we like or hope to tour often, maybe even move to. We have our reasons, but client interest & the potential to profit are the drivers.

How do escorts make their own scheduled lineup though?

Analytics mostly. Providers now have access to and are required to have socials, ads and our own websites all offering in depth views of who is viewing us, where, what time of day and even day of the week. Tech is the bane of my existence but it is a defining tool in my existence as an escort. Especially if I plan to travel.

Based on my monthly stats, I carefully comb through the time of month and what cities are viewing me most down to the booking process (the potentially serious folks). You don't have to reach out to me, your hands are already virtually raised. I then check to see what dates are most affordable/possible to travel to these places (deciding factors also include if I am there for a show or convention myself). Room, flight or fuel costs in places vary wildly around what the local scene is doing. In my own city, I struggle to get a hotel room at all and ride share can cost as much as a flight during certain concerts, festivals and sporting events in town. If the dates seem doable for the city, I'll release the dates. If there are clients willing to secure a booking, I make reservations and the trip happens. Magic!

Still, some tours never manifest. There are many reasons and it doesn't always mean that a provider isn't sought after or successful. Sometimes the overhead in the end is just too much (especially if we have to hire staff to help with our family care or pets while we are away), we may not get enough traction the first attempt or two, our announcements maybe go out too late or get buried and never seen online, sometimes we just have more work coming in at home and decide to hold off on travel. If things are going well though, we may extend a tour or come back to a city to visit with those who missed out initially.

Many people are thrilled to have experiences with traveling new faces or getting to repeat visit with someone really long distance they'd otherwise not have a way to venture out and see. It isn't easy or always rewarding on our end so the generosity and appreciation are huge. The investment varies provider to provider, but it never hurts to reach out about what a trip would require for them

(generally 4 hours with a client or 3 smaller bookings with a handful will get me to your city)

Many clients opt for FMTY or booking enough time for themselves to ensure a provider comes and they are guaranteed to meet within their own preference and schedule. Others are patient, playing the long game for sometimes years to get on the books with someone they admire from afar. Neither tactic is wrong.

Some cities are not touring provider friendly. If you live in one of those places in between that often gets overlooked it could easily be that your local market is review board driven in a negative way, the area maybe highly favors local talent (you should always love and support your locals first if you can), pornstars or a certain look/experience being offered is more likely to profit than sink (kink may not be as popular as vanilla or vice versa). Some cities have a large population that refuses to prebook with deposits so the maybes are too daunting and expensive for us to gamble on. Some cities have no active escorts and none traveling or the scene was thriving and died out with lack of demand. Others are strip club and massage popular but maybe not full service friendly (coastal & college towns can be this way).

There are many factors that seem challenging. Lately, some people have taken domestic pleasure tourism into their own hands with great success. Flights to some cities(heavily populated with workers of all types) are a bit more affordable if planned ahead. Most providers host, but many won't judge your own accommodations as much as you'd think if you were considering flying in and having someone over. I'm always thrilled when someone brings themselves to Atlanta for business or pleasure! It's quickly becoming a popular arrangement when I'm unable to pull off a multi day tour to you.

Web traffic does wonders, keep making yourself known, keep alternative arrangements in mind and always play safe!
